How do I book a date with you?
Contact me, let’s talk. Let me know what date you’re aiming for and I will respond with my availability as soon as possible.
How much time in advance can I book with you?
I can lock down a date 8 months in advance. I set it as this to prevent any changes and cancellations as much as possible. After Covid, I understood how we really don’t know what can happen more than a year out from now. However, if your date is more than 8 months away I would be more than happy to begin to chat and come up with a plan.
What does the process with you look like before and after booking?
Before we close down anything I love to know more about you. I am always eager to have a coffee meeting or schedule a Zoom call so I can really understand what you’re going for. This is when I can answer any and all questions you may have. When we have finally decided what collection is best for you, we sign a contract to make sure we’re on the same page of what we expect from each other. After this, the first 30% down payment can be made, and with this I officially lock down your date. Congratulations, I will be your wedding photographer! Coming up to your date, I will be in constant communication with you to make sure everything is going well. I even send out different questionnaires to collect all the information that might be handy to capture your special day in the best way possible. You’re in the best hands, and you will feel like it!
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
I try not to put a fixed number on it because I like to offer flexibility depending on your own unique story and the way it can be told. Every quote is tailored to each client’s needs. Perhaps you’re hosting a wedding weekend or you already got married and want a “Trash the Dress” kind of shoot. Maybe you just had your first child or you already have a family of five. It all depends. Please contact me so I can offer you the best option.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
My work is more than just photography. I really do put my heart and soul into it to exceed the customary expectations you may have for a vendor. I prepare for months in anticipation so that everything turns out as what you envisioned. I do not offer discounts but I would love to hear more about your story. Please contact me so we can chat.
WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE? WHERE HAVE YOU TRAVELED TO?
I have taken multiple wedding photography courses from the best in the industry like Daniela Villarreal, Petar Jurica, Yessica Cruz, Eric Rene Penoy, Fabian Martinez, Luis Garvan, and Tae from the Be Here Project to only mention a few. I have also been the second shooter to Camila Urrea and Valeria Bross for multiple weddings. I have traveled all around Mexico to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Careyes, Punta de Mita, Los Cabos, and San Miguel de Allende among others. I recently shot the most stunning wedding in Los Angeles. I am always down to jump on a plane and travel to that place that means the world to you.
WILL WE MEET BEFORE THE DAY OF THE SHOOT?
Absolutely! I love going out for coffee with my clients and mostly just keeping in constant contact with them. I truly do everything to make sure I am lending a helping hand in anything that is needed. We can meet as many times as you want to make sure you feel confident that we’re on the same page
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR US TO RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
This depends on the type of shoot. For weddings I usually say between 4 and 6 months. For any other shoots it can be from 1 to 2 months. Don’t worry, I always deliver early previews so you have at least some photos to share. More on this below.
HOW WILL THE PHOTOS BE DELIVERED?
I deliver your photos through a user-friendly online gallery where you will easily be able to share and download your photos in high-quality. Depending on your collection, I deliver between 400 and 700 photos.
DO YOU DELIVER PREVIEWS?
Of course! I deliver a preview within five days of the shoot. I really love giving you a sneak peek of the beautiful photographs we created so that you can share with friends and family.
DO YOU RECOMMEND A SECOND SHOOTER?
If your wedding will have more than 200 guests then, yes! I really do recommend having a second camera to capture absolutely everything through different lenses and perspectives. Two cameras is the best way to get a complete documentation of every part of your day; each of the two “Getting Readys”, your whole family, guests, table settings, catering, love, emotions, and feelings!
DO YOU RECOMMEND AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?
Absolutely! A “Save the Date” or engagement shoot is the best way for us to really get to know each other and connect before your wedding shoot. If you’re feeling a little bit nervous on being in front of the camera, a previous shoot can also help you loosen up for the main session. You’ll understand how I direct and will feel more confident for the second round, plus you’ll have more beautiful photographs to share.
DO YOU INCLUDE OR WORK WITH A VIDEOGRAPHER?
Currently, no. But I actually know many talented videographers and I would be happy to give you my recommendations.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
When I take photographs I begin by observing. Before I do anything, I try to notice and identify all the little details that are naturally there. I have always been a great believer in honoring our own intrinsic qualities and characteristics. By this, I not only mean the great things everyone praises, but also those parts of you only a good acquaintance would know. Maybe it’s the way your eyes flutter when something makes you really happy or perhaps it’s the smile you only make when you’re proud of something. All of this makes me passionate about what I do. My style is about narrating a story in the most beautiful but also honest way. I am all about creating images that reflect who you truly are with editorial hints that deepen and add layers to a timeless photograph. Be assured that I will never arrive with a generic direction that I use with all my clients. My shoots are about connection and regard. What happens if we have to cancel or reschedule?
I understand a situation like this could be very stressful and I promise you I will do everything to work something out. Unfortunately, the first down payment of 30% is non-refundable and non-transferable given I reserve your date for months in advance. However, I am always down to reschedule for an available date or to look for the best solution for both of us.
