my style, My approach
I first observe and then go from there. We are all magically
perfect and wildy extraordinary in our own selves.
Working with me is not about long shot lists or overly posed photos–it’s about documenting what’s naturally there. It’s as simple as that. With this simplicity, and unpretentiousness, I work outwards to highlight the little things that can make every single day wondrous.
Think of it this way: if we’re waiting for something sensational to happen every single day, most likely we’ll be disappointed. My photography is inspired by small sensations that create sentiment and nostalgia. It can be the freshness of dawn, right before the sun rises. Or the birds chirping and reminding you that YOU’RE ALIVE!
Many of these things go unnoticed, however, photographing your day as it naturally unfolds is my signature style. Shooting candid images, and then combining them with editorial elements that reminisce on the poise of being our authentic selves is what my work is about.
“I love being a wallflower when I am behind the lens. I will pass unnoticed and you will feel free to be yourself. I am a firm believer that, most times, the process represents more than the result.”

ABOUT ME
You know those details you still remember from when you were a child?
The way your dad would hold your mom’s hand while they were having dinner. The way your sister would close her eyes before she blew out the candles. The way your grandpa would sit you on his lap to surprise you with a piece of candy. I have so many of these memories–small, peripheral details that fill my recollection of a past time. In all of these remembrances lie the everyday occurrences and happenings of my own family.
I have always called myself an observer. I keenly remember observing how we loved, laughed and even cried together. If I ask myself what it is in me that has made me so passionate about photography, I believe it’s my amusement over life events that happen every day to everyone–saying yes to a marriage, bringing a new life to this world, or delighting in life’s milestones. I understand their significance, and the meaning they hold because I experienced them with my own family. And the memory of it makes me who I am.
JOURNEY
As the world stopped with Covid, we all scrambled to make sense of what was going on. For me, this was putting my hands on a camera and learning everything about it. I started from zero–I knew close to nothing about wedding photography.
However, I am also a total dreamer of every possibility. If I put my mind on something, I am persistent and determined until I see myself on a path. I have worked with and been mentored by the best in the industry; Valeria Bross, Daniela Villarreal, Camila Urrea, Petar Jurica, Tae from the Be Here Project, and many others.
I have traveled all around Mexico and the United States capturing people’s stories of love and the beauty that lies within them. I am adherent to the idea that we all have something to give and show. Little miracles happen every day but if we’re too distracted focusing on what’s not we might miss them.
My background
I was born in Ciudad Obregon, a little city in Northern Mexico. I grew up in a tight-knit, family neighborhood, where everyone knows each other and everyone looks out for one another. I would go for runs alongside Laguna Nainari and enjoy family and friends with a carne asada on Sundays. As Mexican culture usually does, we would come together over sharing meals of tacos, coyotas, and the best tortillas de harina. This place showed me sunsets–something we would appreciate given the interlude in a day of mesmerizing heat. I moved to Guadalajara, the second-largest city in Mexico, to complete my studies. I love it here and probably won’t be moving back. You will find me at little cafés looking for coziness everywhere I go. I love being around nature–it has a grounding effect on me and makes me connect with who I am and what I am made of. I am happiest when I feel connected to my emotions because I know, in the end, we’re all connected too.
These are the details that make me who I am. I am honored you’re reading this and you’re interested in my story. I am excited to uncover the details that make up your story.
“I love cooking and eating sushi. I treasure having time for myself to wind down and listen to music. I am a long-walk lover and a great believer in the importance of moving our bodies to get the energy flowing. Having a great conversation and leaving it feeling motivated and inspired is my idea of a good time. I value mindfulness and I am currently trying to meditate every day. If you have any tips, I would love to hear them.”
